Artist Statement

Unfolding into spring; the Triangle workshop in Salem, upstate New York. 

A decade of exploration and extension of colour and scale. I notice how I refer to work from previous years and find similarities in rhythms, form, tone; a reassuring experience for me. Complimented by quiet times in print studios working in collaboration with master print makers. Picking up on larger scale work again including cutting and collaging. What to do with colour, how to find support for colour so that it rings out and enhances life everywhere.

Moved studio from one area of this home to another. The new studio is high up with a faraway view and an intimacy with the mountain.
