Artist Statement

Working between home making and mothering, teaching and weaving, discovering a new city, Cape Town and beyond the walls, across the river.  

The heat of political change, intense interaction with artists and projects across the communities.

Retreating to my home/studio to restore myself by making images and playing with colour; sitting with women communing in creative tasks accompanied by the sounds of children.
