I recently learned that I had been nominated, and selected, to participate in the Ampersand Foundation’s New York residency.
For the month of November, I will be based in central New York where my mission will be to immerse myself in New York life, and expose myself to new people, spaces, foods and ideas. I intend to visit as many museums and art galleries as time allows, and am in discussion with a local drawing group to possibly connect.
I look forward to reporting on my time in New York upon my return, as well as reflecting on the experience in my studio.
