  • Received funding to do research for a book about Bill Ainslie.
  • Invitation to attend Arts Collaboratory meeting in Amsterdam.
  • Provincial award from Western Cape arts and Culture for contribution to visual arts.

2008/2009

  • Serving on the Board of Greatmore street studios, Fords berg artists studios and Thupelo Cape Town .
  • Continue to research and work with the Bill Ainslie book and portfolio.
  • Teaching at Greatmore street studios and UCT Summer School.
  • Chair of Africa section for Commonwealth awards. Studio practice takes priority at last.

2010

  • Practical workshop at UCT Summer School
  • Coordinated large group exhibition at the Spanish ambassadors residence with Estelle J acobs.
  • Exhibited at Irma Stern gallery, SMAC in Stellenbosch and AVA Cape Town.
  • Working on a large body of work with three Finnish artists and two other South African artists for “waters” a travelling exhibition.
  • Continue with Board work and consulting for GMS
  • Continue teaching.
  • Studio work including regular print making, paintings and paper sculptures.
